What we do
With an estimated 2.5 million people in the UK affected by cancer, Raffingers are pleased to announce ‘ Raffingers Foundation’, a charity we have set up to honour those affected by pancreatic and ovarian cancer.
Raffingers Foundation was formed in 2016, in memory of Jason Kew. Jason was a dear husband and friend of Raffingers who sadly lost his life to pancreatic cancer. This loss triggered the team at Raffingers into action. We wanted to do something positive, to honour Jason and to honour those family members the team had sadly lost to ovarian cancer; hence Raffingers Foundation was born.
The foundation is run by volunteers, which means every single penny raised is distributed in one of two ways:
1. Directly to research projects conducted by Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund and Ovarian Cancer Action. Read More
2. Directly to families affected by pancreatic or ovarian cancer and experiencing financial difficulties. This money is used to help with costs, such as private counselling for any family members, training and equipment. Read More
Approximately 4% of pancreatic cancer patients survive for five years or more from diagnosis; this figure is 46% for those affected by ovarian cancer. We are fighting to change these figures. Therefore, we host a range of fundraising days throughout the year to help raise money, as well as awareness. We invite you to join us at any of these events as well as to fundraise for us.

Charities We Support
A proportion of all of the money we raise is split between Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund and Ovarian Cancer Action and is used to help fund some of their research projects.
Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund supports research into improving diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer. To date, Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund has supported 40 research projects with grants totalling £6.2million - all through fundraising and donations. Visit their website to find out more.
Ovarian Cancer Action is dedicated to beating the UK’s most deadly gynaecological disease. They fund research to help save people's lives as well as raising awareness about the disease. From the scientists working on the latest breakthroughs in the lab, to the people raising vital funds, they need to make their vision a reality. Visit their website to find out more.
